Antigua Sailing Week: It takes place between April and May. Independence Day: Antigua celebrates its Independence Day on November 1st. Owing to its rich history of origin and independence, the day is celebrated in all its grandeur. On the day, it’s a national holiday in Antigua and Barbuda. The Prime Minister gives a speech and addresses the nation. This is followed by a grand ceremonial parade.
